John Cale was born in Wales and went on to found the Velvet Underground with Lou Reed. They became the house band for Andy Warhol's studio (The Factory) and he went on to produce their first album Velvet Underground and Nico in 1967. He also designed the front cover with the famous 'peelable' banana, which reveals a red banana underneath. This is a 250mm x 250mm print of the famous cover with a black frame to 400mm x 400mm.
